Valerie Jewelry Box

The Valerie Jewelry Box gives her a sophisticated way to organize all of her favorite treasures. This stunning jewelry box features a rich java finish, which highlights the sculpted curves and molding of the design. Two large storage drawers on the front open with silver drawer pulls and provide the perfect space for watches, bracelets, or important papers.

Lift the scalloped lid of this box to reveal a large mirror inside, along with eight necklace hooks. The necklace drop is hidden along the back interior of the box, so necklaces stay safe and tangle-free. The top section of the box contains four divided compartments, one open compartment, and a section of rolls for secure ring storage.

This jewelry box is hand-lined in cream-colored suede fabric. It closes and locks with a silver-toned metal clasp; a tassel key is included. Box measures 13W x 8D x 8.5H inches.

About Mele
Emidio Mele, an Italian immigrant to the United States, came to New York City in 1896 and learned to make jewelry boxes as an apprentice before founding Mele Manufacturing in 1912. He began by designing and building elegant displays for jewelry store windows. His jewelry box making business grew throughout the 1900s, responding to demands for boxes to hold Purple Hearts during WWII and developing as a popular household name for quality jewelry boxes.
