Katherina Jewelry Box

The Katherina Jewelry Box is designed to protect and organize all of your favorite treasures. This durable, stylish box features a pearl yellow finish any girl or woman will love, accented by silver-tone metal hardware complete with a lock and key. Open the lid, which is mirrored inside, to reveal an automatic tray that rises up as the lid is lifted. The tray is divided into eight equal compartments and includes a large middle section of ring rolls. Below the tray, a large open area provides storage for all kinds of larger pieces.

This jewelry box includes two full-length drawers along the front. When closed, turning the key will lock access to both the lid and the drawers. Measures 13L x 8.5W x 7H inches.

About Mele
Emidio Mele, an Italian immigrant to the United States, came to New York City in 1896 and learned to make jewelry boxes as an apprentice before founding Mele Manufacturing in 1912. He began by designing and building elegant displays for jewelry store windows. His jewelry box making business grew throughout the 1900s, responding to demands for boxes to hold Purple Hearts during WWII and developing as a popular household name for quality jewelry boxes. Today Mele Jewelry Box is known as the Mele Companies, which encompasses various divisions under the Mele name. Now based in Utica, N.Y., Mele still upholds the family atmosphere on which it was founded and remains America's foremost name in jewelry cases.
