Q1: What is a magnetic lock?

A magnetic lock is flush with the door of the armoire so that it cannot be readily seen. Instead of a standard key, a special magnet is held next to the lock to unlock the cabinet.  Please see below for the manufacterer's instructions for using the magnetic lock. 

To open cabinet door , simply position the magnetic key on cabinet door exterior, over the area where the lock is installed, and the lock will release its hold automatically.  (There should be a slight drag on the magnetic key when you are over the locking mechanism.) Then simply push the door in allowing the touch latch to push the door open. When the key is removed, the lock snaps back into the locked position. If you do not want to lock the cabinet, simply push the spring loaded end in and flip the red unlocking bar over the top until it hits.

Q2: What is the exact color of the inside lining?

A: The lining is a dark forest green color.

Q3: Is the inside lined with felt or a plush fabric for the jewelry?

A: The back side of the door and the back of the cabinet box have a padded plush forest green fabric.

Q4: What type of wood is this made from?

A: This jewelry armoire is made of solid wood in either Oak, Cherry or Maple.

Q5: Is this an imported item or manufactured in the US?

A: It is manufactured in the USA.
