The Chris Watch Box is the ideal way for watch enthusiasts and collectors to store and display their pieces. Designed specifically for watch storage, this high-quality box features wood construction in a rich, warm cherry finish. The lid has a clear plastic viewing window that allows you to admire what's inside as well as quickly find the piece you need; open the lid to reveal a total of 15 padded watch cushions. Each is hand- covered in sand-colored suede fabric. A slim drawer runs along the front of the box and opens to reveal four divided sections, ideal for smaller watches or other jewelry items - or for watch batteries. This box includes a gold-toned metal lock complete with tassel key. Measures 11.5W x 11D x 4.75H inches.


About Mele
Emidio Mele, an Italian immigrant to the United States, came to New York City in 1896 and learned to make jewelry boxes as an apprentice before founding Mele Manufacturing in 1912. He began by designing and building elegant displays for jewelry store windows. His jewelry box making business grew throughout the 1900s, responding to demands for boxes to hold Purple Hearts during WWII and developing as a popular household name for quality jewelry boxes. Today Mele Jewelry Box is known as the Mele Companies, which encompass various divisions under the Mele name. Now based in Utica, N.Y., Mele still upholds the family atmosphere on which it was founded and remains America's foremost name in jewelry cases.
