The Franco Jewelry Valet has a unique open design that lets him quickly access his favorite jewelry or important items. This valet is ideal for dresser-tops and features a sleek, masculine design he'll be proud to display. Constructed of wood, it features a rich cherry finish and has marquetry and burlwood accents on the lid, which opens to reveal two divided storage sections and ring rolls.

This valet has a large open storage area at the back, which is divided into two and is extra-deep to accommodate items like eyeglasses or important papers. A drawer runs along the front of the box and is perfect for watches or bracelets, while a coin slide is ideal for pocket change emptied at the end of the night. The interior of this box is lined by hand in sand-colored suede fabric, which is soft enough for even his best jewelry. Measures 11.25W x 7.75D x 4H inches.

About Mele
Emidio Mele, an Italian immigrant to the United States, came to New York City in 1896 and learned to make jewelry boxes as an apprentice before founding Mele Manufacturing in 1912. He began by designing and building elegant displays for jewelry store windows. His jewelry box making business grew throughout the 1900s, responding to demands for boxes to hold Purple Hearts during WWII and developing as a popular household name for quality jewelry boxes. Today Mele Jewelry Box is known as the Mele Companies, which encompass various divisions under the Mele name. Now based in Utica, N.Y., Mele still upholds the family atmosphere on which it was founded and remains America's foremost name in jewelry cases.
